A manuscript authored by Jim Crants, Carl Rosen, and others was selected as the best paper in extension, production and management by the American Journal of Potato Research. The authors will be honored at an awards banquet at the Potato Association of America's annual meeting in Missoula, Montana next month. The paper was featured in The Profile newsletter last year.
According to their website, "each year the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Potato Research conducts a formal routine of nominations and voting to select the highest quality research paper in each section published in AJPR in the previous year (volume). The corresponding author receives the award at the Awards Banquet, and the paper itself is granted open-access status by the publisher."
