Rice in a changing climate

Rice is an important cereal crop, and one that is impacted by drought in rainfed areas. SWAC researcher Muhammad Tahir and his co-authors tested cultivars of rice under water stress conditions to learn how they perform. This knowledge will be helpful in regions such as Southeast Asia, which is susceptible to climatic variability and forecasted to experience water shortages. Read the recent publication in Agronomy.
