Congratulations to Dr. Tom Halbach, SWAC professor emeritus and former Extension Waste Management Specialist. He was selected to received the Minnesota Composting Council's inaugural Excellence Award. The award will be presented to him at the Plate to Garden event during the St. Paul Saints game at CHS Field on May 1, the start of International Compost Awareness Week. The recognition was announced in MNCC's email newsletter.
