Research
Dr. Gupta conducts research on various aspects of Soil Hydrology, Water Quality, Soil Mechanics, Waste Utilization, and Soil Management. His recent projects include climate, drainage, and cropping system impacts on river flows; sediment pollution from river bank erosion; role of bank sediments in transporting wastewater phosphorus; trend in river water quality; fate and transport of manure applied antibiotics; antibiotic uptake by plants; nutrient losses from winter waste application; and use of recycled materials in pavements.
