On May 6, CFANS hosted its Collegiate Awards Program during the Spring All-College Assembly. Multiple members of the SWAC community were honored for their work at the event. Congratulations to the SWAC Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Associate Extension Professor Anna Cates on their CFANS collegiate awards!
The SWAC DEI Committee was awarded the CFANS Inclusive Excellence Impact Award for their collective work building a culture of inclusion in SWAC and in CFANS. The award was accepted by LAAS graduate students Nora Pearson (committee co-chair) and Megan Andersen, and faculty member and committee co-chair Dr. Kari Wolf.
Dr. Anna Cates received the Distinguished Extension and Outreach Award for her outstanding contributions to extension and outreach education.
