Dr. Jess Gutknecht was selected as one of the recipients for this year’s University of Minnesota Community-Engaged Scholar Award. According to the award announcement, which was shared with the Department Head and the Dean of CFANS, "this award is presented to University faculty or staff members for exemplary publicly-engaged scholarship that embodies the University of Minnesota’s definition of public engagement." The award includes a $1,000 monetary prize. Congratulations Jess!
As one of the ten named Community-Engaged Scholars, Dr. Gutknecht is eligible to receive the President’s Community-Engaged Scholar Award, which will be awarded to one scholar this fall.
