Harvest season continues as the weather cools and the calendar rolls over to autumn. Last week, SWAC researcher Darby Martin and intern Gustavo Duprat collected beans that are part of a statewide nitrogen rate study. "We use data to tweak fertilizer recommendations for farmers statewide," Martin told the West Central Tribune. "Everything is accessible to the public."
