Collegiality and collaboration

School pride is palpable at a soil judging competition. Students compete both individually and as a team, learning from the environment and each other. An innovation at a recent competition hosted by the University of Minnesota–Jumble Judging–added an intercollegiate aspect to the event that led to collegial and collaborative interactions between students from different universities.
