Dr. Kelley Wells receives award for Impactful Research

Dr. Kelley Wells has received a 2021 University of Minnesota Postdoc Award in Impactful Research; Wells is an atmospheric chemist who uses remote sensing and inverse modeling to study the sources and fluxes of various gases, including greenhouse gases and other pollutants. 

Wells was nominated for the award by Dr. Dylan Millet. In his nomination, he says, “Kelley is an outstanding scientist whose groundbreaking research is having major impacts in our field and beyond. Furthermore, she is a generous mentor and colleague who enriches the culture of our group, the department, and the University.”

The award announcement coincides with National Postdoc Appreciation Week, which is September 20 through 24, 2021. The week of networking and professional development kicked off this morning, and continues for the rest of the week.
